JOIN US FOR A FUN DAY AT THE WAVE POOL
We’ll have the following activities:
- Tandem surfing
- Bodyboarding
- Fun Beach Games
We provide all the gear needed for a fun safe day. You only need to bring your personal items such as a towel, change of clothes, etc. Please come in your bathing suit and ready to go. After the event there are changing facilities at the site.
Please be advised that ONLY participants may enter the pool. Family members cannot go into the water.
The mall is very large. Please give yourself plenty of time to find the entrance to Parking Lot B. Additionally, it is a long distance from the mall entrance to the wave pool. We meet at the Mall Entrance off of Parking Lot B, check in and then travel together to the pool together. Please do not report directly to the pool.
There will only be snacks at this event. NO lunch will be served. Also, we do not prepare special options for those with dietary limitations, if this affects you, please plan accordingly.
We wrap the day up with a fun filled celebration of all the successes with our award ceremony where each participant receives a Best Day team surfer medal.
Our Schedule:
6:15 a.m. Volunteers check in and venue set up and training.
7:00 a.m. Participants check-in opens and are matched with their volunteer Beach Buddy.
7:45 a.m. Volunteers & Participants gather together at the pool for welcome and warm up exercises.
8:00 a.m. Beach Activities Begin!
10:30 a.m. Awards ceremony & group photo
11:00 a.m. Participants are free to leave
11:00 a.m. Volunteers are required to take down, clean up and pack up
11:30 a.m. Once we are packed up everyone is free to leave
