San Diego

We are expanding into the San Diego area with a new chapter after hosting events on Camp Pendleton for the last couple of years. If you would like to get involved with our chapter leadership team, please let us  know.

Best Day is only possible with the support of our community. Best Day is now serving over 1200 kids with special needs each year and has over 5000 volunteers in other parts of the country. Let’s make Best Day in San Diego the Biggest and the Best with your help.

Our events include:

  • Beach obstacle course
  • Tandem surfing
  • Body-boarding
  • Kayaking
  • Outrigger Canoeing
  • SUP

We would love to have you join us as a participant family or volunteer. Please choose the appropriate link to the left to sign up. We also encourage you to sign up for our mailing list and follow us via our social media accounts using the links above so you can keep up with all the fun Best Day has in store.

  • David Moll

Became involved with Best Day after seeing it positively affect a young sibling. Stoked to bring that same magic to San Diego!

  • Kerry Murphy
    Kerry Murphy Community Awareness Coordinator

Seeing the smile on a child’s face after their first wave, and telling  them “You’re a Surfer Now” – well, I get choked up just  thinking about that, knowing we might be helping that child have their “Best Day”!
