Best Day at the Beach events are held at the inner cove of C-Street at Surfer’s Point on the beach side of the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Look for the Best Day pop up tents.
Parking: There’s a small free parking lot on Paseo De Playa (north of the Crowne Plaza) or a large free parking structure on the corner of California and Santa Clara Streets. There’s also a 3-story paid parking structure south of the Crowne Plaza on Harbor Blvd – you must pay to park in it. However, you can park there for free IF you stop and get a meal, appetizers, or drinks at the Crowne Plaza – as they’ll be able to validate your parking.
Volunteers should show up at at 8am to help set up. Volunteers are free to leave after and tear down and packing which is usually by 2pm. Learn more about volunteering here.
Participants must be pre-registered and need to show up at 9:15am sharp to check in. The event should be complete for participants by 1pm. Learn more about being a participant here.

Bring – A towel & extra change of clothes if you think you might get wet, camera, sunscreen, beach chair, friends and family.
